Description

A recipe for “ice cream” that contains only three ingredients…bananas, peanut butter and cocoa powder. You will be shocked at how delicious and creamy this frozen treat is! And you can make it in minutes and enjoy it right away. Make it for a healthy treat all summer long.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 medium frozen bananas (260 grams)
  • 2 Tbsp cocoa powder
  • 3 Tbsp peanut butter

Instructions

  1. Cut the frozen bananas into quarter inch slices. Add to your heavy duty blender.
  2. Add in cocoa powder and peanut butter.
  3. Blend until smooth.
  4. Serve immediately.

Notes

I use a BlendTec with a twister jar* to make this treat. Because there is no liquid in this recipe it can be hard on your blender. I’ve burned out a regular blender before trying to make this. If you are nervous about ruining your blender you may want to add a quarter cup or milk or almond milk in the bottom of the blender before adding the rest of the ingredients. The ice cream won’t be as thick but it will still taste amazing.
