Description
Savory, slightly sweet, and just the right amount of spicy, this Instant Pot bang bang beef and rice cooks the meat and rice together in one pot for an easy weeknight dinner.

- 16 oz lean ground beef
- 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 2 tsp sriracha
- 2 Tbsp seasoned rice vinegar
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup jasmine rice
Bang Bang Sauce
- 1/4 cup mayo
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 2 tsp sriracha
- 1/2 tsp seasoned rice vinegar
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Turn Instant Pot to sauté setting. When display says HOT add in the beef and break it up. Brown for 5 minutes. Drain off excess grease.
- Stir in the soy sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, ginger, sriracha, rice vinegar and brown sugar.
- Pour in the broth and scrape bottom of pot so that nothing is sticking. Turn off Instant Pot.
- Sprinkle in the rice, don’t stir.
- Cover Instant Pot and secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set manual/pressure cook button to 5 minutes. When time is up let pot sit for 10 minutes and then move valve to venting. Remove the lid and stir.
- Stir together all ingredients for bang bang sauce.
- Scoop rice/beef mixture onto plates and drizzle with some bang bang sauce and top with green onions and sesame seeds, if desired.
