Bad day? Try this comforting Instant Pot casserole with beef, noodles, cabbage and cheese. A cure for your bad mood!

- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 Tbsp dry onion
- 6 cups shredded cabbage
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 cups beef broth
- 8 ounces egg noodles
- 1 (25 oz) jar pasta sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Turn Instant Pot to saute setting. When display says HOT add in the beef and break it up. Add in the onion. Brown for about 3 minutes and then stir in the cabbage, salt, pepper, garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Cook for another 3 minutes.
- Pour in the broth and scrape bottom of pot so that nothing is sticking. Turn off Instant Pot.
- Sprinkle in the egg noodles and then spoon the pasta sauce evenly over the noodles.
- Cover Instant Pot and secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set the manual/pressure cook button to 1 minute. When time is up let the pot sit for 5-10 minutes and then move valve to venting. Remove the lid.
- Stir in half the cheese. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top and let it melt.
