Description

A mashup of spaghetti, pork and beans, and seasoned ground beef, this easy Instant Pot dinner is savory, saucy, and ready in minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups beef or chicken broth
  • 8 ounces spaghetti (or macaroni)
  • 1 (15 oz) can pork and beans
  • 2 (8 oz) cans tomato sauce
  • 2 Tbsp BBQ sauce or ketchup
  • 1/2 cup diced green bell pepper

Instructions

  1. Turn Instant Pot to saute setting. When display says HOT add in the ground beef and break it up. Add in the onions. Brown for 5 minutes. Drain off excess grease. Stir in the salt and pepper.
  2. Pour in the broth and scrape bottom of pot so that nothing is sticking. Turn off Instant Pot.
  3. Break up the spaghetti into 2 inch pieces. Scatter them into the pot. Dump the pork and beans and the tomato sauce evenly over the spaghetti. Add in the barbecue sauce and the green pepper.
  4. Cover Instant Pot and secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set manual/pressure cook button to 4 minutes. When time is up let pot sit for 8-10 minutes and then move valve to venting. Remove the lid.
  5. Stir well. Serve and enjoy! (I topped mine with a little cheddar cheese)
