A mashup of spaghetti, pork and beans, and seasoned ground beef, this easy Instant Pot dinner is savory, saucy, and ready in minutes.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 cup diced onion
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 cups beef or chicken broth
- 8 ounces spaghetti (or macaroni)
- 1 (15 oz) can pork and beans
- 2 (8 oz) cans tomato sauce
- 2 Tbsp BBQ sauce or ketchup
- 1/2 cup diced green bell pepper
Instructions
- Turn Instant Pot to saute setting. When display says HOT add in the ground beef and break it up. Add in the onions. Brown for 5 minutes. Drain off excess grease. Stir in the salt and pepper.
- Pour in the broth and scrape bottom of pot so that nothing is sticking. Turn off Instant Pot.
- Break up the spaghetti into 2 inch pieces. Scatter them into the pot. Dump the pork and beans and the tomato sauce evenly over the spaghetti. Add in the barbecue sauce and the green pepper.
- Cover Instant Pot and secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set manual/pressure cook button to 4 minutes. When time is up let pot sit for 8-10 minutes and then move valve to venting. Remove the lid.
