Description

A good busy day casserole made in your Instant Pot. It is full of ground beef, spaghetti, potatoes, tomato sauce and cream of mushroom soup.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1 rib of celery, sliced
  • 1 tsp kosher salt, divided
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
  • 4 ounces spaghetti
  • 2 medium Russet potatoes, peeled and cut into cubes
  • 1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup

Instructions

  1. Turn Instant Pot to saute setting. When display says HOT add in the beef and break it up. Add in the onion and celery. Brown for about 5 minutes. Drain off excess grease. Stir in ½ tsp of the salt, pepper and garlic powder.
  2. Pour in the broth and scrape bottom of pot so that nothing is sticking. Turn off Instant Pot.
  3. Break the spaghetti in half and lay it in a criss cross pattern in the pot. Add in the potatoes. Sprinkle the potatoes with the other ½ tsp of salt. Add the tomato sauce and cream of mushroom soup on top.
  4. Cover Instant Pot and secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set the manual/pressure cook button to 4 minutes. When time is up let pot sit for 10 minutes. Move valve to venting and remove the lid.
  5. Stir well. If desired you can add in some cheese and bacon. Serve and enjoy!
