Description

An easy egg, bacon, crouton and cheddar breakfast casserole.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 5 slices of thick cut bacon
  • 2 cups seasoned croutons
  • 2 Tbsp melted butter
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 Tbsp yellow mustard

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 325° F.
  2. Fry up the bacon and move to a paper towel lined plate. (I cooked my bacon in the air fryer). Crumble the bacon. Set aside.
  3. Spray a 8×8 inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. Add in the croutons. Drizzle the butter over the croutons.  Sprinkle the cheese on top.
  4. In a bowl whisk together the eggs, milk and mustard. Pour over the top of the cheese. Add the bacon on top. 
  5. Bake for 35-40 minutes. 
  6. Slice and serve.
