Description

Sausage and spaghetti with cheddar. An easy Instant Pot recipe with only 5 ingredients!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground sausage
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 8 ounces uncooked spaghetti
  • 1 (25 oz) jar spaghetti sauce
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Turn Instant Pot to saute setting. When display says HOT add in the sausage and break it up. Brown for 5 minutes. Drain off excess grease.
  2. Pour in the broth and scrape bottom of pot so that nothing is sticking. Turn off Instant Pot.
  3. Break the spaghetti in half. Lay it in a criss cross pattern into the pot. Pour the sauce over the top of the spaghetti.
  4. Cover Instant Pot and secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set the manual/pressure cook button to 4 minutes. When time is up let pot sit for 10 minutes and then move valve to venting. Remove the lid. 
  5. Stir in half of the cheese. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top and let it melt. Serve and enjoy!
