Description

An easy Instant Pot recipe that is a mash up of sloppy joes and spaghetti. Tangy and delicious!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 ounces lean ground beef
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 cup beef or chicken broth
  • 8 ounces spaghetti
  • 2 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce
  • 1 Tbsp mustard
  • 4 Tbsp ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 (4 oz) can diced green chiles
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Turn Instant Pot to saute setting. When display says HOT add in the beef and break it up. Add in the onion. Brown for 5 minutes. Drain off excess grease. Stir in the salt, pepper and garlic powder.
  2. Pour in the broth and scrape bottom of pot so that nothing is sticking. Turn off Instant Pot.
  3. Break up spaghetti into 2 inch pieces. Scatter the spaghetti into the pot. Pour the tomato sauce evenly over the spaghett. Add in the mustard, ketchup, Worcestershire and diced green chiles.
  4. Cover Instant Pot and secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set manual/pressure cook button to 4 minutes. When time is up let pot sit for 10 minutes and then move valve to venting. Remove the lid.
