Description
Slow cooker or Instant Pot tortellini and Italian meatballs in a luscious tomato sauce. A dump and go recipe!
Ingredients

- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 16 ounces Italian style frozen meatballs
- 16 ounces frozen cheese tortellini
- 1 (28 oz) can crushed tomatoes
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 2 cups chopped spinach
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella
- 1/2 cup shredded parmesan
Instructions
Slow Cooker Instructions:
- Add broth, meatballs, tortellini, tomatoes, butter, onion powder, garlic powder and salt into slow cooker and stir.
- Cover and cook on low for 2-3 hours.
- Stir in the spinach, mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
- Serve and enjoy!
Instant Pot Instructions:
- Pour broth into bottom of Instant Pot. Line the bottom of the pot with the meatballs. Add tortellini on top of meatballs. Dump tomatoes over tortellini. Add in the butter, onion powder, garlic powder and salt.
- Cover Instant Pot and secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set the manual/pressure cook button to 0 (zero) minutes. When time is up move valve to venting and then remove the lid.
- Stir in the spinach, mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
- Serve and enjoy!
