3 Tbsp unsalted butter
2 oz semisweet chocolate
6 Tbsp sugar
1 Tbsp cornstarch
1 egg
1 egg yolk
2 oz semisweet chocolate
6 Tbsp sugar
1 Tbsp cornstarch
1 egg
1 egg yolk
In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and chocolate together. Set aside. In a mixing bowl, combine the sugar and cornstarch. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg and yolk together. Add the melted butter-chocolate mixture to the sugar mixture and combine thoroughly with a wire whisk. Stir in the eggs and whisk just until smooth. Scoop the mixture into 3 ramekins so they are 2/3 full. Place on top of a rack inside the slow cooker. Cover and cook on HIGH for 1-1 1/2 hours. Center should still jiggle. Serve immediately with vanilla ice cream. Makes 3 servings.
Review:
The good and the bad thing about this dessert is that there is only 3 servings and then it’s gone. Not like a pan of brownies that you can just keep eating and eating and eating. Don’t forget the ice cream with this dessert it is an absolute must. 4 stars

I’ve never heard of a rack in a slow-cooker. I do have a roaster that has one. If I don’t have a rack. how do I sit it in the slow,-cooker?
Karen says
I just use a little trivet. You can also ball up pieces of foil and place them in the bottom of your slow cooker.

Your souffle recipe looks nice and simple. I am really looking forward to trying it. Just one question – do you need to add an inch of boiling water to the bottom of the slow cooker bowl? I have seen this done in pudding recipes…
