Day 61: Rigatoni


28 oz jar spaghetti sauce
12 oz rigatoni, cooked
1-1 1/2 lbs ground beef or italian sausage, browned
3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 lb pepperoni slices
sliced mushrooms, optional
sliced onions, optional

1. In 4 quart slow cooker, layer half of each ingredient in order listed. Repeat.
2. Cover. Cook on low 4-5 hours.
(This is family friendly pasta dish that kids and parents will both enjoy. I used curly pasta instead of rigatoni but I'm sure you could used whatever kind of pasta you want. I used the sausage and enjoyed that. I prefer a little bit more spaghetti sauce than was listed but you can experiement. I give this recipe 4 stars.)
