2-3 Yams, sliced into 1/2 inch disks
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
Place sliced yams into your slow cooker. Combine the butter and sugar together and stir. Pour over the top of yams. Stir to coat. Sprinkle salt and pepper over the top and stir. Cover and cook on LOW for 3-4 hours.

I like yams. I know that a lot of people don’t. Including every other member of my household. I was the only person that ate vegetables at dinner tonight. I thought these yams were very tasty. You really can’t go wrong with butter and brown sugar. Next time I will add sliced apples in with the yams. This would be a great addition to your Thanksgiving meal. 4 stars.
