Description
Instant Pot kielbasa with carrots, cabbage, red potatoes and bacon. An easy one pot meal.

- 1 Tbsp bacon grease
- 1 (12 oz) package kielbasa or smoked sausage, sliced into quarter inch rounds
- 1 medium yellow onion, halved and sliced
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 cups chopped cabbage
- 1 cup baby carrots
- 1 medium red potatoes, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
- 1/2 tsp seasoned salt
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 cup bacon crumbles
Instructions
- Turn Instant Pot to saute setting. When display says HOT add in the bacon grease. Add in the kielbasa and brown for about 3 minutes on each side. Add in the onions and saute for 3 more minutes.
- Pour in the broth and scrape bottom of pot so that nothing is sticking. Turn off Instant Pot.
- Add in the cabbage, carrots and potatoes (in that order). Sprinkle the potatoes with the seasoned salt and the garlic powder.
- Cover Instant Pot and secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set the manual/pressure cook button to 4 minutes for soft vegetables or 3 minutes for less soft vegetables. When time is up move valve to venting and remove the lid once steam has all released.
- Stir in the bacon crumbles.
