Description

A creamy Instant Pot pasta recipe with ground turkey or beef, tomato sauce, cheddar cheese, and sour cream.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 oz ground turkey or ground beef
  • 2 Tbsp dried minced onion
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 8 oz small shells
  • 2 (8 oz) cans tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 Tbsp ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Turn Instant Pot to sauté setting. When display says HOT add in the turkey/beef and break it up. Add in the onion. Brown for 5 minutes. Drain off excess grease. Stir in the salt, pepper,  Italian seasoning and garlic powder.
  2. Pour in the broth and scrape bottom of pot so that nothing is sticking. Turn off Instant Pot.
  3. Sprinkle in the shells. Pour the tomato sauce evenly over the shells. Add in the sugar, ketchup and vinegar.
