Description

A sinfully good bacon cheeseburger casserole with tater tots on top.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 strips of thick bacon
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/3 cup ketchup
  • 2 Tbsp mustard
  • 1/3 cup diced dill pickles
  • 12 ounces tater tots
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Fry the bacon and cook until crispy (I do this step in the air fryer). Place on paper towel lined plate and set aside.
  2. Preheat oven to 400° F.
  3. Heat a pan over medium high heat. Add in the ground beef and break it up. Add in the onion. Brown for about 5 minutes. Drain off excess grease.
  4. Stir in the salt, pepper, garlic powder, ketchup, mustard and pickles.
  5. Transfer to a 9×9 inch baking dish. Top with the tater tots. Bake for 35 minutes, or until tots are golden brown.
  6. Crumble the bacon and sprinkle on top. Add the cheese on top and let it melt for 3 minutes.
  7. Serve and enjoy!
