Description
Rotini pasta with ground beef and a creamy tomato sauce. An easy Instant Pot recipe!
Ingredients

- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 cup diced onion
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 1/2 cups water
- 1 Tbsp Better than Bouillon Beef Base
- 8 ounces rotini pasta
- 1 (6 oz) can tomato paste
- 4 ounces cream cheese
Instructions
- Turn Instant Pot to saute setting. When display says HOT add in the beef and break it up. Add in the onion. Brown for about 5 minutes. Drain off excess grease. Stir in the salt and pepper.
- Pour in the water and scrape bottom of pot so that nothing is sticking. Turn off Instant Pot.
- Stir in the beef base. Sprinkle the rotini pasta into the pot. Dump the tomato paste and cream cheese on top.
- Cover Instant Pot and secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set the manual/pressure cook button to 4 minutes. When time is up let pot sit for 5 minutes and then move valve to venting. Remove the lid.
- Stir well. Serve and enjoy. Top with a bit of parmesan cheese and basil, if desired.
