Description
Seasoned ground beef with protein pasta, tomato sauce, cream cheese, cheddar and green onions. An easy high protein Instant Pot meal.

- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 1/2 cups beef broth
- 1 (8 oz) box Banza* rotini chickpea pasta
- 2 (8 oz) cans tomato sauce
- 2 ounces cream cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 green onions, diced
Instructions
- Turn Instant Pot to saute setting. When display says HOT add in the ground beef and break it up. Brown for 5 minutes. Drain off excess grease. Stir in the garlic salt, pepper and Italian seasoning.
- Pour in the broth and scrape bottom of pot so that nothing is sticking. Turn off Instant Pot.
- Sprinkle in the pasta. Dump the tomato sauce evenly over pasta. Add in the cream cheese. Don’t stir.
- Cover Instant Pot and secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set the manual/pressure cook button to 2 minutes. When time is up let the pressure release naturally for 4 minutes and then move valve to venting. Remove the lid.
- Stir. Sprinkle the cheese on top and let it melt. Sprinkle with green onions. Serve and enjoy!
