Description
Crispy breaded chicken fingers, crumbled bacon, and melted sharp cheddar cheese topped with a tangy honey mustard sauce in a toasted bun for an easy weeknight dinner.

- 8 frozen breaded chicken fingers
- 4 slices bacon
- 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 4 buns (hot dog buns or hoagie buns)
- 1/4 cup mayo
- 1 Tbsp honey
- 1 Tbsp yellow mustard
- 1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Cook the chicken fingers according to package directions (I used the air fryer setting in my oven).
- Cook the bacon (I used my air fryer).
- In a bowl whisk together the mayo, honey, yellow mustard, Dijon and lemon juice.
- Assemble each sandwich: Chop 2 chicken fingers and place in one of the buns. Top with one slice of crumbled bacon. Sprinkle 2 Tbsp of cheese on top. Melt the cheese under your oven’s broiler for a couple minutes, watch closely so it doesn’t burn. Top with 1 Tbsp of honey mustard dressing.
