Description

Crispy breaded chicken fingers, crumbled bacon, and melted sharp cheddar cheese topped with a tangy honey mustard sauce in a toasted bun for an easy weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 frozen breaded chicken fingers
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 4 buns (hot dog buns or hoagie buns)
  • 1/4 cup mayo
  • 1 Tbsp honey
  • 1 Tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Cook the chicken fingers according to package directions (I used the air fryer setting in my oven).
  2. Cook the bacon (I used my air fryer).
  3. In a bowl whisk together the mayo, honey, yellow mustard, Dijon and lemon juice.
  4. Assemble each sandwich: Chop 2 chicken fingers and place in one of the buns. Top with one slice of crumbled bacon. Sprinkle 2 Tbsp of cheese on top. Melt the cheese under your oven’s broiler for a couple minutes, watch closely so it doesn’t burn. Top with 1 Tbsp of honey mustard dressing.
  5. Enjoy!
