This is a guest post by my friend and neighbor, Lynn. Thanks Lynn…looks great!
2 lbs. lean ground beef
1 tsp onion powder
3/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 cup frozen chopped onions (thawed and drained) (I used fresh)
1 10 3/4 oz can low-fat tomato soup
1/2 tsp. pepper
5 medium potatoes (peeled and sliced)
1 cup nonfat half and half
Spray large nonstick skillet with cooking spray. Add ground beef to skillet; sprinkle with onion powder and garlic powder. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until beef is browned and crumbled. Drain well. Combine onions, soup and pepper in medium bowl and mix well. Arrange potato slices in bottom of slow cooker; top with meat mixture. Pour soup mixture over top and mix. Cover and cook on low heat for 4-6 hours. Increase heat to high. Pour half and half into slow cooker. cover and cook for 15-20 minutes.
Review:
This was a good meal for me when I didn’t have a whole lot of “stuff” in my pantry. We rated it 4 stars.
I cannot pin directly from your website linked to the emails(I always get the 'not a valid image' error), but I'm delighted I can repin from your Pinterest page. 🙂
hmmm, it worked for me. Not sure why it won't pin for you 🙁
Can't pin it on Pinterest, Pinterest says This is not a valid image.
would whole milk work okay in this instead of half and half?
