Instant Pot noodle casserole with Italian sausage, pepperoni, cabbage, mushrooms and marinara sauce.

  • 1 pound ground Italian sausage
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 4 ounces sliced mushrooms
  • 2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 cups chopped cabbage
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup Pace picante sauce (I use mild)
  • 1/2 cup chopped pepperoni
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese

  1. Turn Instant Pot to saute setting. When display says HOT add in the sausage and break it up. Add in the onions and mushrooms. Brown for about 5 minutes.
  2. Pour in the broth and scrape bottom of pot so that nothing is sticking. Turn off Instant Pot.
  3. Add in the egg noodles. Then dump the cabbage, marinara and picante sauce over the top of the noodles.
  4. Cover Instant Pot and secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set the manual/pressure cook button to 1 minute. When time is up let pot sit for 5 minutes and then move valve to venting. Remove the lid.
  5. Stir in the pepperoni and cheeses.
  6. Serve and enjoy!
