I’m off to conquer the world!  (Or maybe just go to preschool)

I’m excited to let you all know about a new feature here at 365 Days of Slow Cooking. You’ll notice that I’ve added a Save Recipe button to each recipe post, so you can now save your favorites to your own personal recipe boxes, along with any other recipes you find across the web. You can also save the recipe ingredients to your online shopping lists with one click.

I’ve teamed up with ZipList to make this happen. They power the online recipe boxes and shopping lists you see at MarthaStewart.com, The Daily Meal and Joy of Baking, as well as many food blogs. You can save recipes from any of these websites, including mine, and they’ll all be saved in one place. No more hunting from site-to-site to track down your favorite recipes.

You can also access your recipe box and shopping list from my website, ZipList.com and using free mobile apps so you have what you need to plan meals and grocery shop wherever you go. I’m excited to hear what you think!

I appreciate that! I really like that Print Friendly feature and save recipes in PDF format. I used to have to copy the text and then save the photo, but this makes it so much easier.

I understand that so many sites want to protect their recipes and keep them from being stolen and pass off as the thief's own, but it defeats the intent of sharing by putting in a no-right script or the like. If sites make it too difficult for me to save the recipe, I'm apt to never return.

Anyway, I appreciate your site, been subscribed via RSS for quite a while. I'm constantly adding and deleting sites from my feed, but I think yours is a keeper!

Welcome!

Hi, I’m Karen. I know that dinner time can be less than relaxing. Busy schedules and cranky kids and a hundred other things can lead to weariness when it comes to putting dinner on the table. I can help! I make homemade, family-friendly slow cooker and Instant Pot dinners and share the recipes with you.
