It’s time for a really great giveaway! I’m hoping that you’ll be delighted by the goodness up for grabs. The WINNER TAKES ALL.  One winner will win the 3 prizes described below (with a total retail value of $80). So take a look and enter the contest.

Prize #1:  My cookbook, 365 Days of Slow Cooking
This cookbook contains over 250 of the 3, 4 and 5 star recipes from my year-long quest.  I use it all the time and I bet you will too.  You’re bound to find at least a month’s worth of great recipes that you and your family will enjoy.  If you’d like to order one click here.  They make great wedding gifts, birthday presents, etc!

Prize #2:  America’s Test Kitchen Slow Cooker Revolution brand new cookbook.

I have my own copy of the cookbook.  I have to say it is definitely the best slow cooker cookbook that I’ve come across.  And believe me, I’ve looked at a ton!  My favorite things about the cookbook:
1.  There are beautiful pictures
2.  Interesting tips and keys for success…lots of things that I had never heard of before
3.  A wide variety of recipes.
4.  America’s Test Kitchen knows what they are talking about.  They’ve tried all the recipes not one time but many times, like 30. They are smart, they know what they are doing and they only put the best of the best in this cookbook.
This book is now only $17.00 on amazon.  So check it out!

Prize #3:  Shirley J Package of Fun which includes…

Universal Sauce Bag:  The universal sauce truly lives up to it’s name. Extremely versatile, you can use it in soups, casseroles, pasta sauces and so much more. The applications are endless!

Beef Slow Cooker Seasoning:  Shirley J Beef Slow Cooker Seasoning is the perfect addition when cooking any beef dish. As the meat cooks, a perfect gravy will develop to season and moisten the meat.

Pizza Pasta:  More than a spice blend, our exclusive formula of classic Italian herbs makes the most authentic Italian meals. Try Shirley J Pizza and Pasta Seasoning in breads, sauces, soups, pasta and more.

Onion Seasoning:  Shirley J Onion Seasoning is a universal seasoning blend with unlimited recipe applications for any meat, poultry or vegetable dish. Its concentrated flavor make it a go-to flavoring. Use in a roast, on a rub or soup; sprinkle a bit on vegetables, meat or potatoes for that extra burst of flavor.

I’ve used all of these products and I can attest that they are absolutely fabulous.  For all the recipes I’ve used Shirley J products in click here.

So do you want to win?????  Uh, yeah.
This is how you enter:
At the bottom of each of my posts there is a box that looks like this:

1.  Either “Like”, “Tweet”, or “Share” a recipe post of mine that you have tried or would like to try.  You may do this with up to 10 of my posts.
2.  After you have liked/tweeted/shared my posts go ahead and leave a comment on this post of which recipe you liked/tweeted/shared.  Leave up to 10 comments (one for each like/tweet/share).  Make sure there is a way for me to get a hold of you in case you win.
3.  The giveaway will go until Thursday June 2nd (2 weeks from today). U.S. residents only.

Yippee for giveaways!!!  Extra special thanks to America’s Test Kitchen and Shirley J for providing their products!

I can't remember the name of the recipe and I am too lazy after a long day and a long run to go look in the kitchen. It was the BBQ sandwich with coleslaw. We didn't use the colslaw, but the dinner was great for eating in shifts…given our crazy schedule that day!

Tried the balsamic parmesan potatoes. Was not really excited about them, BUT I used them the next day in a vegetable chowder type soup (I don't know what to call it because I kind of put whatever was in the fridge in the pot). It surprisingly turned out to be really good. Another keeper!
