Description
Smoked sausage, wagon wheel pasta with salsa and cheese. An easy Instant Pot recipe you can count on.

- 2 Tbsp butter
- 1 (12 oz) package beef smoked sausage, sliced into quarter inch rounds
- 1 cup diced onion
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 8 oz wagon wheel pasta
- 1 1/2 cups pace picante sauce, divided
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Turn Instant Pot to saute setting. When display says HOT add in the butter and let it melt. Add in the smoked sausage and brown for a couple minutes on each side. Add in the onions and saute for 3 minutes. Add in the garlic and saute for 30 seconds.
- Pour in the broth and scrape bottom of pot so that nothing is sticking. Turn off Instant Pot.
- Sprinkle in the pasta. Dump in 1 cup of the picante sauce.
- Cover Instant Pot and secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set the manual/pressure cook button to 4 minutes. When time is up let pot sit for 10 minutes and then move valve to venting. Remove the lid.
- Stir in the remaining ½ cup of picante sauce, the sour cream and cheddar.
- Serve and enjoy!
