Description
A sweet and sour sloppy joe made quickly in your Instant Pot. A dump and go recipe!
Ingredients

- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 pound lean ground beef (I used 93/7)
- 2 Tbsp minced dry onion
- 1 1/2 Tbsp white vinegar
- 1 1/2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp yellow mustard
- 3/4 cup ketchup
- Salt and pepper
- Hamburger buns
Instructions
Instant Pot Instructions:
- Add broth into Instant Pot. Break up the raw ground beef and add it into the pot. Dump the onion, vinegar, brown sugar, mustard, ketchup on top. Don’t stir.
- Cover Instant Pot and secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set the manual/pressure cook button to 5 minutes. When time is up let the pot sit for 5 minutes and then move valve to venting. Remove the lid.
- Break up the meat and stir well. Add plenty of salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the loose meat on top of buns. Eat and enjoy!
Slow Cooker Instructions:
- Add broth, ground beef, onion, vinegar, brown sugar, mustard, ketchup into slow cooker. Break up the meat.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours.
- Break up the meat and stir well. Add plenty of salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the loose meat on top of buns. Eat and enjoy!
