Description

Easy Instant Pot spaghetti with ground beef, crushed tomatoes, celery and onion.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz lean ground beef
  • 1/4 cup finely diced onion
  • 1/4 cup diced celery
  • 3/4 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 14 oz crushed tomatoes
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar

Instructions

  1. Turn Instant Pot to sauté setting. When display says HOT add in the beef and break it up. Add in the onion and celery. Brown for 5 minutes. Drain off excess grease. Stir in the salt, pepper and garlic powder.
  2. Pour in the broth and scrape bottom of pot so that nothing is sticking. Turn off Instant Pot. 
  3. Break the spaghetti in half. Lay it in the pot in a criss cross pattern. Evenly pour in the crushed tomatoes. Add in the butter.
  4. Cover Instant Pot and secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set manual/pressure cook button to 4 minutes. When time is up let pot sit for 5 minutes and then move valve to venting. Remove the lid.
  5. Stir in the balsamic. Serve topped with parmesan cheese.
