Description

An easy Instant Pot recipe with rice, cabbage, ground pork and seasonings. A family favorite!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (20 oz) package ground pork
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp poultry seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 1/2 garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup converted rice
  • 1/2 of a head of cabbage, chopped
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup

Instructions

  1. Turn Instant Pot to saute setting. When display says HOT add in the pork and the onions. Break up the pork. Brown for about 5 minutes. If there is excess grease, drain it off.
  2. Stir in the salt, pepper, poultry seasoning, paprika and garlic powder.
  3. Pour in the broth and scrape bottom of pot so that nothing is sticking.
  4. Sprinkle in the rice, don’t stir. Add in the cabbage and finally the cream of chicken soup.
  5. Cover Instant Pot and secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set the manual/pressure cook button to 3 minutes. When time is up let pot sit for 10 minutes and then move valve to venting.
  6. Stir well. Serve and enjoy!
