Description

Seasoned ground beef with macaroni, tomatoes and corn. Lots of flavor and not a lot of work. Make it in your Instant Pot or on the stove. 


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 Tbsp minced dried onion
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 8 ounces uncooked macaroni
  • 1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup frozen white sweet corn
  • 1 (10.75 oz) can Campbell’s tomato soup

Instructions

Instant Pot Instructions:

  1. Turn Instant Pot to saute setting. When display says HOT add in the beef and break it up. Add in the onion, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Brown for about 5 minutes. 
  2. Pour in the broth and Worcestershire sauce and scrape bottom of pot so that nothing is sticking. Turn off Instant Pot. 
  3. Sprinkle in the macaroni. Dump the tomatoes, corn and tomato soup on top. Don’t stir.
  4. Cover Instant Pot and secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set the manual/pressure cook button to 4 minutes. When time is up let pot sit for 5-10 minutes and then move valve to venting. Remove the lid.
  5. Stir. Scoop onto plates and serve. 

Stove Top Instructions:

  1. Heat a large pan over medium high heat. Add in the beef and break it up. Add in the onion, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Brown for about 5 minutes. 
  2. Pour in 2 ½ cups of broth. Stir in the macaroni, tomatoes, corn and tomato soup. 
  3. Cover the pan and simmer the dish for about 15-20 minutes, until until pasta is cooked through.
  4. Stir. Scoop onto plates and serve.
