Description

An easy Instant Pot dinner made with ground beef, tender egg noodles and a creamy brown gravy sauce.

Ingredients

8 oz lean ground beef

½ cup diced onion

Pinch of kosher salt

1 tsp garlic powder

¾ tsp black pepper

2 tsp Worcestershire sauce

2 ½ cups water

1 tsp Better than Bouillon beef base

8 oz egg noodles

1 brown gravy mix packet

4 oz cream cheese

2 tsp white wine vinegar

¼ cup cream

Instructions

  1. Turn Instant Pot to saute setting. When display says HOT add in the beef and break it up. Add in the onions. Brown for 5 minutes. Drain off excess grease. Stir in the salt, garlic powder, pepper and Worcestershire sauce.
  2. Pour in the water and beef base and scrape bottom of pot so that nothing is sticking.
  3. Sprinkle in the egg noodles and gently press to submerge (not all of the noodles will be in the water).
  4. Sprinkle in the gravy mix and top with the cream cheese.
  5. Cover Instant Pot and secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set manual/pressure cook button to 1 minute. When time is up let pot sit for 5 minutes and then move valve to venting.
  6. Stir in the vinegar and cream. Add more salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

Meat lover? Go for 16 ounces of ground beef instead of 8 ounces.
