Pork Steaks

Jessica tried out these 2 pork dishes.  She said that the pork steaks, “were a good recipe, however came out slightly greasy. The flavor was really good, it was easy to prepare and you got a lot of food for a low cost.”  She said that the fork tender ribs won because, “
This was a fantastic recipe! Easy to make, awesome taste, lots of food for little cost!”

Next up, the roast beef sliders versus the party meatballs.  Lucy, from Hawaii, tried these two out.  She scored them both 50/50 for flavor!  Here are her results:

Roast Beef Sliders

Lucy “graded the sliders down on Likeliness of Making it again because the price of beef here is expensive & for 2lbs of beef I could have stretched it farther in another dish.  Everybody really liked the flavor & texture of the beef. The banana peppers really made the dish pop! I served the sliders with the juice on the side, lettuce & offered sauteed onions too.”
Party Meatballs

She went on to say that the meatballs were “the easiest dish to prep. Frozen meatballs, chili sauce, grape jelly, A1 sauce are all things I have on hand but haven’t ever combined together.

I probably won’t make this dish again because of cost. A 3lb bag of frozen meatballs was $9.00. Fresh ground hamburger is $2.79 a pound.

The flavor was amazing! My oldest son who is 19 years old was just blown away by it! The sweet & the spicy combo was awesome. He put it into a lettuce wrap with American cheese.

Just a side note: I had about a cup of sauce left over so I simmered it down & added a can of drained black beans to it. I plan to use this reduction with a tofu dinner later this week. The sauce has so much flavor that I thought it’d be perfect for tofu.”

Next round the Ribs versus the Sliders!  Should be a close game.
