Description

Egg noodles with ground beef, cheese and a few other interesting ingredients makes a saucy, hearty pasta dish. An easy Instant Pot recipe.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 cup diced onions
  • 1 rib of celery, diced
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 1/2 cups chicken or beef broth
  • 8 ounces uncooked egg noodles
  • 1 (4 oz) can diced green chiles
  • 1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup Pace picante sauce
  • 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Turn Instant Pot to saute setting. When display says HOT add in the ground beef and break it up. Add in the onions and celery. Brown for about 5 minutes. Drain off excess grease. Stir in the salt, pepper and garlic powder.
  2. Pour in the broth and scrape bottom of pot so that nothing is sticking.
  3. Sprinkle in the egg noodles evenly. Then dump the green chiles, tomato sauce, picante sauce, bbq sauce and Worcestershire on top. Don’t stir.
  4. Cover Instant Pot and secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set the manual/pressure cook button to 1 minute. When time is up let pot sit for 5 minutes then move valve to venting to release any remaining pressure. Remove the lid.
  5. Stir. Sprinkle cheese on top and let melt. Serve and enjoy.
