Kitchen Tip Tuesday: Keeping your celery fresh longer

So many times I buy celery for one recipe and use one rib of it.  Then I forget about it in my fridge and it gets all limp and gross before I can use it again!  This is a trick I’ve learned and loved recently.  Just use foil and wrap up the celery tightly.  It will last about 3 times as long and still be crisp and delicious!!

I have dead celery in the fridge right now it didn't have to die so young if I had done this.

I have done this for a couple of years and it keeps for 2 to 3 weeks this way. One of the keys is to NOT wash it before you wrap it up. Wash it as you use it. And be sure that every piece of the celery in inside of the foil. This truly does work!!

That's a great tip. I actually threw out 4 stalks this weekend ๐Ÿ™ & you don't ever realize you have it until you want to use it and then it's bad.
