- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of celery soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup French fried onions, for topping
Instructions
Instant Pot Instructions:
- Pour 1 ½ cups water into bottom of Instant Pot.
- Add potatoes, onion powder, garlic salt, pepper, cream of celery, sour cream and cheese into a large mixing bowl. Stir well.
- Add the mixture into a deep pot-in-pot dish (I used a 3 quart IP liner inside my 6 quart IP as a pot-in-pot dish).
- Place the dish on top of a sling/trivet and lower the dish into the Instant Pot.
- Cover the Instant Pot and secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set the manual/pressure cook button to 30 minutes (if your potatoes are frozen) or 20 minutes (if your potatoes are thawed). When time is up move valve to venting. Remove the lid.
- Remove the dish and top with French fried onions. Serve and enjoy.
Slow Cooker Instructions:

- Add the mixture into slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours.
- Remove the lid and top with French fried onions. Serve and enjoy.
