Description
A high protein, beefy asian infused dish with cabbage, carrots and rice. The perfect food to fuel you to get some work done!
Ingredients

- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 cup diced onion
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 3 Tbsp low sodium soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp seasoned rice vinegar
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup converted rice
- 2 medium carrots, shredded
- 4 cups shredded cabbage
Instructions
- Turn Instant Pot to saute setting. When display says HOT add in the beef and break it up. Add in the onion. Brown for about 5 minutes. Drain off excess grease.
- Stir in the salt, pepper, garlic powder, sesame oil, ginger, soy sauce, rice vinegar and beef broth. Scrape bottom of pot so that nothing is sticking. Turn off Instant Pot.
- Sprinkle in the rice. Dump in the carrots and cabbage.
- Cover Instant Pot and secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set the manual/pressure cook button to 5 minutes. When time is up let pot sit for 10 minutes and then move valve to venting. Remove the lid.
- Stir. Serve and enjoy.
