Description

An easy Instant Pot recipe for a single serving of the most amazing homemade macaroni and cheese. Perfect if you’re home alone!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 1/2 tsp Better than Bouillon Chicken Base
  • 4 ounces uncooked macaroni
  • 1/4 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp coarse black pepper
  • 1/8 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 2/3 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Add water, bouillon, macaroni, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder and mustard into Instant Pot.
  2. Cover and secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set the manual/pressure cook button to 3 minutes. When time is up let pot sit for 5 minutes and then move valve to venting. Remove the lid. 
  3. Stir in the cheese until melted. 
  4. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

This recipe makes about 1 ½ servings.

If you want your macaroni extra cheesy add in extra cheese as per your preference.
