Description

Penne pasta and chicken in a creamy white sauce…better than alfredo!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 Tbsp Better than Bouillon chicken base
  • 2 cups chopped, cooked chicken (I used rotisserie chicken)
  • 8 ounces penne pasta
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • Pinch of kosher salt
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • Parmesan cheese, for topping

Instructions

  1. Pour water into Instant Pot. Stir in the bouillon. Add in the chicken. Sprinkle in the pasta, garlic powder, pepper and salt. Place the cream cheese on top.
  2. Cover Instant Pot and secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set the manual/pressure cook button to 4 minutes. When time is up let pot sit for 5 minutes and then move valve to venting. Remove the lid.
  3. Stir in the sour cream.
  4. Scoop onto plates, sprinkle with parmesan cheese and serve.
