YIPPEE! We are half way to 365! I am so excited that I am doing a little jig! I can’t believe I have been doing this for 6 straight months. Wow. I’ve been surprised by the fact that it has not been that difficult to cook in my crockpot everyday, but the difficult part has been doing a different recipe every day…no repeats. I have to do 180 plus new recipes in the next 6 months. So if any of you have something I haven’t done yet that you’d like to see tried…let me know and I’ll see what I can do. Thanks to all of you who have sent recipes…I’ll be trying them in the next 182 days.
The first quarter of the year brought some great recipes…here are my fave.
The 2nd quarter has not been too shabby either. Here are my top ten favorites from the second quarter (in no particular order):
1. Caramel chocolate cake and Brownie fudge cake (which is better? It’s a toss up!)
2. Uncle Gary’s chicken
3. Peanut Butter Granola
4. Creamy Black Bean Salsa Chicken
5. Greek Chicken Pita Folds
6. Chunky Applesauce
7. Thai Chicken Thighs
8. Baked Oatmeal
9. Garlic Lime Chicken
10. Creamy Chicken and Mushrooms
Have a great day and thanks for sticking with me. I love your comments!
Mary,
will you send me the soup recipe? and the breakfast lasagna? Sounds great! Karen
Try the Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken BArbeque on allrecipes.com
It's really good. I omitted the brown sugar as bbq sauce is sweet enough. ๐
Great blog!!!
I make a soup similar to Olive Garden's Pasta E Fagoli soup. Hubby loves it. Do you want the recipe? Also found one for Breakfast Lasagna that sounded yummy.
Do you want me to send it to you through a blog comment or email it to you? I took a picture too!
Send it my way, Heidi! Sounds great.
Karen, my mom made this awesome crockpot pork roast with teriyaki sauce last night for dinner. It was so good! Would you be interested in putting it on here? It's actually from the Fix It and Forget It cookbook.
I have one that I always wanted to try. Sandra Lee from the Food Network did a Creme de Menthe Brownie in her crockpot. It looked so delicious! I guess you would just search on the Food Network website for the recipe. I also saw a breakfast casserole that I wanted to try, how nice to have breakfast ready and waiting when you wake up. Thank you!
