My daughter said to me the other day, “Mom, I can’t wait until it gets cold, so we can drink hot chocolate!”  I don’t really like the cold, but sipping yummy hot chocolate or cider is a definitely a bright spot during the gloomy winter!  There is a new, delicious cookbook out my Laura Powell, author of the awesome blog, Real Mom Kitchen.  The book has holiday hot chocolate and cider recipes that will be sure to warm up your life.  Some that I look forward to trying are:  salted caramel hot chocolate, Nutella hot chocolate, hot chocolate truffles and hot caramel apple cider!  YUM!  Each recipe has a beautiful picture to go along with it.

If you’d like to win a copy of Warm Up Your Winter enter below!  Good luck ๐Ÿ™‚

During the holidays I love having a pot on the stove or the slow cooker simmering away with holiday drinks….they fill the house with lovely aromas and fill the soul with warm, fuzzy feelings! However….my recipes are getting tired and worn out and I need to learn some new recipes! Which is where this book would come in super handy! Thanks for the opportunity!

My son, who turns 13 in two weeks, has really become a "hot" beverage drinker in the last couple months. He says he has to have his hot tea, or whatever, before he goes to sleep. He says it really relaxes him and helps him fall asleep quickly, which he has problems doing. I would love to have the recipe book so we can try different things for him.

The transitional seasons are the best. However of the two tho fall is my personal favorite. The smell in the air, the colors on the trees, my two favorite holidays Halloween and Thanksgiving and my birthday all make it perfect. Relaxing with a warm seasonal beverage will make it extra enjoyable!!!!
