- 1/2 pound Jimmy Dean sausage
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/2 cup diced bell pepper
- 1/4 cup bacon crumbles
- 1 (15 oz) can pinto beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 (15 oz) can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
- 1/4 cup Heinz ketchup
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 Tbsp yellow mustard
- 1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
Instructions
Instant Pot Instructions
- Turn Instant Pot to saute setting. When display says HOT add in the sausage and break it up. Add in the onions and peppers. Brown sausage for about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the bacon, pinto beans, kidney beans, ketchup, vinegar, mustard and tomato sauce.
- Cover Instant Pot. Set Instant Pot to the Slow Cooker setting on “more”. Cook for 1-2 hours.
- Stir. Serve and enjoy!
Slow Cooker Instructions
- Heat a pan over medium high heat. Add in the sausage and break it up. Add in the onions and peppers. Brown sausage for about 5 minutes. Transfer to the slow cooker.
- Stir in the bacon, pinto beans, kidney beans, ketchup, vinegar, mustard and tomato sauce.
- Cover and cook on high for 1-2 hours.
- Stir. Serve and enjoy!
