All the signs of fall are here. It’s crisp in the mornings and evenings and the leaves are starting to change a bit. Football stadiums are full on Friday nights and the kids are back in school. Crockpots are appearing again on kitchen counter tops…okay so maybe that is not exactly the quintessential sign of fall, but it’s kind of true right? We start thinking of different soups and recipes that we haven’t tried since February and a whole new world of recipes are available to our weekly menus. Here are some recipes that you may not have made yet but are definitely worth a try. Enjoy the cooling weather with some of my warm crockpot favorites:
Appetizer: Chicken Artichoke Dip (perfect for a party or watching football)
Soup: Tomato Basil Parmesan Soup (meatless and delicious)
Entree: Creamy Black Bean and Salsa Chicken (Easy, yummy, and the whole family will eat it)
Dessert: Cherry Delight (ooooh, I threw a curve ball at you with a non-chocolate dessert didn’t I? It’s actually very yummy. I had it last week and was reminded why I rated it a good solid 4 stars.)
