Day 74: Twisted Bread with Cream Cheese and Broccoli

3 chicken breasts
1 loaf rhodes bread dough (I used whole wheat dough made in my bread maker)
brocolli florets
red pepper
green pepper
8 oz cream cheese
chicken boullion
dried onion
garlic
Cook chicken in crockpot all day with 2 cups water, 2-3 boullion cubes, 2 minced garlic cloves, and 1/3 cup dried onion. Thaw 1 loaf of bread dough according to package directions. Take chicken out of liquid and mix with cream cheese, and blanched brocolli and peppers (use as much as you like). Set aside. Roll bread dough into a long rectangle. Cut a 1 1/2 inch strip of dough on each side, leaving it connected at the top. Spread mixture down the center of the dough. Fold dough over and twist on top. Bake about 25 minutes at 350 or until dough is done.
(As you can tell from the picture, I didn’t quite make the bread as pretty as I would have liked. It was kind of a mess. Even though it didn’t look good, it tasted very good. I ate all the leftovers for lunch the past few days. I give this 4 stars.)

It is just the frozen loaf of dough found in your grocer’s freezer section. It could be Rhodes or some other brand,I’m sure.
