3 cups toasted bread cubes
1 1/2 cups shredded cheese
bacon, ham chunks, or sausage (optional)
6 eggs, beaten
3 cups milk
3/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1. Combine bread cubes, cheese, and meat in greased slow cooker.
2. Mix together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Pour over bread.
3. Cook on low 4-6 hours.
2 stars. I was hoping this would turn out as well as the breakfast casserole that I made earlier. It didn’t! It was soggy and gross. The other recipe calls for more bread and less milk than this one, so I’m thinking that’s why this one didn’t turn out. Sad day!
