4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
1/2 cup prepared pesto sauce
¼ tsp black pepper
½ tsp garlic powder
1 Tbsp cornstarch
1 Tbsp milk
Place chicken in bottom of slow cooker. Pour pesto over the top. Sprinkle with black pepper and garlic powder. Cover and cook for 3 hours on HIGH. If you’d like a thicker pesto sauce to serve over the top of your chicken or on pasta, mix milk and cornstarch together. Pour into slow cooker. Cook on HIGH for 15 more minutes, until sauce is thickened. Makes 4 servings.
This is a very simple dish to make. I love pesto sauce. I forgot about it until recently when I made the Pesto Rice with Beans. I enjoyed this dish. I only wish that I would have used a pesto seasoning packet to rub on the chicken before I used the prepared pesto to pour over it. 3 stars.
