This recipe is fabulous. I’ve made it a zillion times and wouldn’t change a thing. Serve over rice. Enjoy!
Stew Meat Stroganoff
2 lbs. beef stew meat
salt and pepper
1/2 chopped onion
1 can mushrooms
1 cream of chicken soup
Cook in crock pot or 300 degree oven for 3 1/2 hrs.
Add:
1 8 oz can tomato sauce
2 tsp. dried parsley
1 cup sour cream and put back in oven til heated through.
Why is there tomato sauce being added? What value does it add?
