5 (6 oz) skinless, boneless chicken breast halves (I used chicken tenders)
1 (16 oz) can diced tomatoes with basil (I just used regular tomatoes and sprinkled basil in)
2 tbsp minced garlic
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp dry mustard
1 (4 oz) can mushrooms, drained
1 Tbsp water
1 Tbsp cornstarch
Place chicken in slow cooker. Stir together the tomatoes, garlic, soy sauce, and mustard; pour over the chicken breasts. Cook on low for 4-5 hours. Mix water and cornstarch together until smooth. Pour into the slow cooker, along with the mushrooms. Keep lid off and turn to high. Stir. Let thicken for about 10 minutes. Serve over your favorite pasta.
Review:
This was an excellent dish! I loved the flavor of the tomatoes, mushrooms, garlic and soy sauce together. I will definitely add this to my regular rotation. It had easy ingredients and is a healthy dish. 4 stars.
I tried this on Sunday and it was delicious. Mild flavor. Everyone ate it with no complaints. My kids are 12, 9, and 5! Thanks for the recipe.
This looks great. I'll have to try it soon. Thanks for sharing!
I have to say I dont think I would like this one because I am not that crazy about cooked tomatoes . go figure cause I love fresh tomatoes .
