1 box of macaroni and cheese
1/4 cup butter
1 cup evaporated milk
Pour uncooked macaroni into bottom of slow cooker. Warm milk and mix cheese packet in with a wire wisk. Pour milk mixture over pasta evenly. Cut up butter into 6 even pieces and place on top of pasta. Cook on low for 2-3 hours.
Why would I make a box of macaroni and cheese in a slow cooker? Just to see if it would work. It did. Kind of. I mean making macaroni and cheese the conventional way creates a semi-edible substance and making it in the crockpot yielded the same results. I didn’t eat it, but my kids did and they liked it. 2 stars.
