Serves 6
16 oz. can cherry pie filling
1/2 pkg. chocolate cake mix
1 egg
3 tbsp. evaporated milk
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 pkg. chocolate cake mix
1 egg
3 tbsp. evaporated milk
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Dump pie filling into lightly buttered crockpot and cook on high for 30 minutes. Mix together remaining ingredients and spoon onto hot pie filling. Cover and cook for 2-3 hours on low setting.
Review:
I didn’t serve this right away and it was cold when I ate it. I think it would have been a lot better served warm with vanilla ice cream. I didn’t hate it but I didn’t love it either. I probably won’t make it again, just because it was too cakey for me. I am not a big fan of cake. I’m a cookie and brownie girl. 2 stars.
