3-4 lbs boneless country-style pork ribs
1 can (20 oz) pineapple tidbits, undrained
16 oz tomato sauce
1/2 cup thinly sliced onion
1/2 cup thinly sliced green pepper
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1/4 cup tomato paste
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 garlic clove, minced
Salt and pepper, to taste
Place the ribs in an ungreased slow cooker. In a bowl, combine the remaining ingredients; pour over the ribs. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or until the meat is tender. Thicken the sauce if desired.
Review:
If I was to make country-style pork ribs again, I would definitely choose this sweet and sour ribs recipe over today’s post. I did not like this one at all. I hardly finished it. I didn’t like the sauce. Day 17 on the other hand was delicious! 2 stars.
