I picked a winner. And it wasn’t a random drawing. It started out that way. I tried to pick a winner from random.org but it ended up being someone who left a comment anonymously and didn’t leave an email address. I hate when that happens! So then I decided to pick the entry that made me laugh the most and it was…

Jennifer!
This is what she said…
I did 10 jumping jacks on one foot – blindfolded- with my hands tied behind my back- while balancing a crock pot on my head.

The visual of that made me giggle. So Jennifer, you win. Congrats! Email me to get your cookbook.

If you still really want a cookbook and you didn’t win you can buy it for $13.00. Not the same, I realize but still good.

The winner of the cookbook is:

#7 Gary

Congrats, Gary! Email me and I will send you your very own copy of my cookbook. Lucky you.

If you didn’t win, don’t worry you can get your very own copy too. You’ll just have to pay for it. But really, what is a measly $13 in the grand scheme of things…especially since your meal planning will be a breeze.

The person that wins the cookbook is…

SARA!
(go ahead and email me your address and I’ll send your cookbook)

Congrats, Sara. As well as sending the most people to my blog she also had a great comment I really can appreciate:

“Hi. I love your sight and would love to win a cookbook. It has been a great source for my family while we have been renovating our kitchen. The crockpot & microwave have been our only source of cooking for months now. It’s been so nice to try some new recipes and to learn you can crockpot desserts. (I thought I’d die going that long without warm brownies.) Thanks, we love it.”

I’m with you, Sara, on the brownie thing. But in case you can’t wait a couple of hours for brownies, I have a little trick for you. Make brownie batter (from scratch or from a box). Put a dollop in a bowl. Put in the microwave for about 20 seconds. And TA-DA you have a warm brownie in about 30 seconds. Then store the rest of the batter in the freezer for future chocolate attacks that are sure to come. This little trick also works with cookie dough. A warm cookie or brownie in literally seconds…what could be better?

Thank you! Thank you! I'm so excited. I somehow missed this post yesterday when I checked but you have made my day! Thanks also for the brownie tip. I will now be doing that all too often, I'm sure!

Great Idea!! I am going to try that one too. We tryed the pizza lasagna recipe on halloween. It was a hit, the kids loved it, as well and my husband and I. Do you have a ravioli recipe??

Hi, I’m Karen. I know that dinner time can be less than relaxing. Busy schedules and cranky kids and a hundred other things can lead to weariness when it comes to putting dinner on the table. I can help! I make homemade, family-friendly slow cooker and Instant Pot dinners and share the recipes with you.
