Description

Ground beef and spaghetti noodles with vegetables, an amazing sauce and cheese. An easy Instant Pot weeknight dinner recipe.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound lean ground beef (I used 93/7)
  • 1 rib of celery, diced
  • 2 Tbsp dry minced onion
  • 1 tsp kosher salt,
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 8 ounces spaghetti
  • 1 (25 oz) jar Mezzetta Roasted Garlic Sauce
  • 4 mini sweet peppers, cored and diced (I used red and orange)
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Turn Instant Pot to sauté setting. When display says HOT add in the beef and break it up. Add in the celery, onion, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning and garlic powder. Brown for about 5 minutes.
  2. Pour in broth and scrape bottom of pot so that nothing is sticking. Turn off Instant Pot.
  3. Break the spaghetti in half and lay it in a criss cross pattern in the pot. Dump the sauce evenly over the top and then add the peppers in.
  4. Cover Instant Pot and secure the lid. Make sure valve is set to sealing. Set the manual/pressure cook button to 3 minutes. When time is up let pot sit for 5-10 minutes then move valve to venting. Remove the lid.
  5. Stir in the cheeses. Serve and enjoy!
