Description

Leftover french fries casserole. It’s like cheesy potato casserole but it’s made with fries instead.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 5 cups leftover french fries
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar, divided
  • 1 (4 oz) can diced green chiles (mild)
  • 1/4 cup panko
  • 2 Tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F.
  2. Pulse the fries in a food processor or blender until coarsely chopped. Add to a mixing bowl.
  3. Stir in the salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, sour cream, milk, half of the cheddar and green chiles. Spread the mixture into a 9×9 inch baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle the panko evenly on top. Drizzle with the melted butter. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
